I am Jacob Hunwick, a passionate instructional designer with a robust background in various design disciplines, including UX Design, Graphic Design, and Digital Fabrication. My journey in design began with a natural talent for painting, which grew into a career in visual arts. Co-founding a longboard company with my brother allowed me to develop skills in graphic design, product design, marketing, and fabrication.

During my undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, I had the opportunity to work on numerous projects at the ArtSciLab, collaborating with a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds. My role as a UX Designer at the ArtSciLab included founding a digital magazine publication, redesigning the lab’s interior, and creating a web portal for an AI assistant.

My approach to instructional design is rooted in the belief that successful UX Design prioritizes user demands while balancing psychological and economic principles. I enjoy creating digital tools that provide value, ensuring that interfaces are not only usable but also meet stakeholder needs.
